What is crazing?

Me. When I have five wash loads, with three washers open. Out of time. Overloading a washer and the color transfers from dark to light colored items.

What is the Spa Fold?

It means you need to relax when folding.

It is a method of folding that applies to ALL flat items (flats) – from sheets to towels. It produces a smooth facing edge while ends of the flat are folded up in the middle.

Spa Folding is really just rolling up towels.

Spa Fold is the fold you can use for robes and towels only, so they look like they were on a shelf at the spa.

5. Question

Another pain point, or easy place to fail, is during the final bundling of the laundry. Whether you are bundling into a tote, bag, or paper wrapped bundle – what is the order the clothes should be stacked?

All bundles should have the heaviest/largest items on the bottom. Stack laundry based on dark to light and similar items. Try to group general sizes in stacks.

Bundles should have the small items at the bottom. They fall apart anyway, so the customer can fish them out at the end.

Bundling really doesn’t matter. I load whichever way it fits.
