Washing
Hot water should be between 145*F and 160*F; much hotter and it will really do a number on the clothes! Most laundromats turn down the hot water to barely warm, 100*F or so. Laundromat owners will know the temperature of their hot water.Associated Courses and Groups:

I have a hunch and will need you to do a little homework. Start a normal load and watch the machine and cycle - when you see soap enter the machine (Main Wash part of the cycle) start a timer; stop the timer when the drum stops and the water starts draining away, rinsing begins. For laundry soaps to work well the cycle needs to last at least 7 minutes. There should also be at least three Rinses after the Main Wash.Associated Courses and Groups:

Folding
Yes! Follow our normal washing procedure for hot water and add 1 cup of white vinegar to the softener dispenser. This will strip the towels of any old soap and softener, leaving them brighter and whiter. Adding an Oxy Whiter in a second wash can really bring it up a notch as well.Associated Courses and Groups:
