    Pronounced “duva” (long a at end) it is the covering for a feather / down / or synthetic down comforter. Duvets are often made of line, cotton or even bamboo.

    They are laundered separately and differently from the comforter.
    The purpose is to keep the comforter clean, especially where the top edge is tucked under arms and around face and neck.
    Most have a way to attach the inside duvet corners to the comforter corner, but not all.

    The Duvet and Comforter are priced separately because they are laundered separately.
